Job description

AWS Developer Experience is looking for a Manager to lead a team of developer advocates. This team is responsible for how millions of developers learn, build with, and talk about AWS. You'll own the strategy for how we show up in the developer community through content, events, and engagement, and you'll be the connective tissue between what developers (and their agents!) need and what our service teams build.
You'll work across marketing, product, and engineering to make sure the developer voice shapes our roadmap and that our products land with the people building on AWS every day.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will lead our efforts to engage with developers, understand their needs, and bring valuable insights back to our service teams

You will collaborate closely with service teams, marketing, and solutions architects to shape the critical role that developer relations plays in driving innovation and adoption of AWS services. Your expertise in software development, architecture, and team dynamics will be invaluable as you define our strategy, ensuring that we deliver impactful and relevant experiences to the developer community.
As a trusted partner to our service teams, you will play a vital role in facilitating product feedback and insights, helping to shape the future of AWS services. Your ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate the voice of the developer will be key to driving continuous improvement and delivering an exceptional developer experience.
A day in the life
Why AWS?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform

We pioneered cloud computing and never stopped innovating - that's why customers from the most successful startups to Global 500 companies trust our robust suite of products and services to power their businesses.
Inclusive Team Culture
Here at AWS, it's in our nature to learn and be curious. Our employee-led affinity groups foster a culture of inclusion that empower us to be proud of our differences. Ongoing events and learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences, inspire us to never stop embracing our uniqueness.
Mentorship & Career Growth
We're continuously raising our performance bar as we strive to become Earth's Best Employer

That's why you'll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional.
Work/Life Balance
We value work-life harmony. Achieving success at work should never come at the expense of sacrifices at home, which is why we strive for flexibility as part of our working culture.

When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there's nothing we can't achieve in the cloud.
About the team
AWS Developer Experience exists to make developers love building on AWS. We produce technical content, run community programs, and show up wherever developers are learning and building.

We're a team of builders who ship code, write tutorials, and speak at conferences. We care about authenticity, technical credibility, and actually being useful to developers rather than talking at them.
