Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector who is familiar with Brake Press machines, measuring angles, and using hand and power tools, including micrometers, calipers, and protractors. The role requires following engineering drawings to ensure parts' accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of parts through different stages of production and confirm conformance to specifications.
  • Record inspection results and prepare documentation.
  • Communicate with stakeholders as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with quality inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, blueprints, and/or drawings.
  • Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and dependable.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical activities such as twisting and bending.
