We are currently looking for a Body Shop Detailer / Porter to join our collision center team. This position plays an important role in keeping vehicles clean, assisting with vehicle movement, supporting daily shop operations, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get started in the collision repair industry. If you are interested in learning how a body shop operates, this role provides hands-on experience and a clear path for growth. Team members in this position may have the opportunity to learn estimating, body repair, paint operations, and other collision center roles as they grow with the company.

Responsibilities

Wash, wax, buff, and detail customer vehicles
Clean interior and exterior windows
Vacuum, scrub, and clean vehicle interiors
Clean engine compartments when needed
Apply dressing to tires and tire wells
Use approved cleaners and detailing products to ensure vehicles are properly cleaned
Move vehicles safely around the body shop, parking areas, and dealership property
Assist with parking, staging, and organizing vehicles for repair, delivery, and pickup
Help maintain cleanliness of the body shop, detail area, and surrounding work areas
Sweep, clean, and organize shop areas as needed
Remove trash, discarded parts, and debris from work areas
Assist technicians, estimators, and management with basic porter duties as needed
Learn basic body shop processes, repair flow, and vehicle delivery standards
Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
Report any safety concerns or vehicle damage immediately to management

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to safely drive and park vehicles
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Ability to keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Interest in learning the collision repair business is a plus
Previous detailing, porter, or body shop experience is a plus, but not required
