As an Account Manager with Deswik, you will leverage your extensive mine planning experience to oversee and grow Deswik's regional customer base across North America.
  • Oversee and grow Deswik's regional customer base

Given Deswik's global reach, this role will require approximately 30% travel.
What You Will Do:
  • Develop new business, manage current accounts, draft proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Build collaborative relationships with customer stakeholders, including frontline site teams, general managers, and corporate executives
  • Support the planning and delivery of high-quality software implementations and consulting services
  • Innovate in applying Deswik technology to solve complex mining problems
  • Exceed customer expectations by delivering increased value from existing investments and building genuine partnerships
  • Manage customer relationships professionally, addressing any issues or concerns promptly

About You:
  • Degree-qualified in Mining Engineering or Geology
  • 5+ years' experience in the mining industry, holding technical or operational positions
  • Solid understanding of site operations, and knows what it takes to get things done on site
  • Deep understanding of mining engineering and mining technical problems
  • You have held previous sales or customer/stakeholder management roles and dealt with commercial negotiations
  • Skilled in assembling people, technology, and processes to create mine planning systems
  • Strong influencing skills, capable of supporting change management in large organizations and delivering value through your people skills
  • You have a restless desire for things to be done better
  • In your work, you use both EQ and IQ to solve problems and are known for doing what you say you will do
  • You are great with technology and will become literate in the use of Deswik tools.
  • Fluency with Deswik tools is a distinct advantage.
