Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to support the inspection of high-performance racing engine components. You'll work hands-on with parts that have competed at the highest levels of motorsports, helping identify wear, defects, and opportunities to improve reliability and performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a mechanical aptitude and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Perform post-race inspection of racing engine components using visual, liquid penetrant, and magnetic particle inspection methods under the guidance of certified personnel.
  • Accurately document inspection findings and maintain detailed records.
  • Identify and communicate potential issues requiring further review.
  • Use basic math to calculate inspection parameters and verify results.
  • Support production schedules by completing inspections efficiently and accurately.
  • Re-clean parts following inspection processes.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training preferred.
  • Basic NDT knowledge or inspection experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in high-performance engines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Requirements
  • Frequent bending and stooping.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • For ITAR compliance, this position requires the individual to be a 'U.S. person' (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
