Job description

Now Hiring! Dockhands in Fort Walton Beach
Ready for a summer job that actually feels like summer?

Destiny Water Adventures is hiring Dockhands for the season! You'll spend your days on the dock, out on the water, and in the middle of the action helping guests have the best day of their vacation. We're looking for energetic, reliable people who love being outside and genuinely enjoy working with the public. No experience required — just bring the attitude and we'll handle the rest.

What you'll be doing:
  • Walking guests through the safe operation of boats, jet skis, and paddlecraft before they head out
  • Conducting thorough pre- and post-rental inspections on all equipment
  • Helping guests with rental agreements and making sure they feel confident before leaving the dock
  • Assisting with boarding, enforcing safety guidelines, and keeping the dock area clean and organized
  • If you're 18+, leading guided jet ski tours through local waterways and assisting guests out on the water
  • Pitching in wherever the team needs you — this is an all-hands operation
Who you are:
  • 16 years or older and available to work full day shifts (up to 12 hours — yes, in the Florida sun)
  • Physically active and able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • A strong communicator who's comfortable talking to all kinds of people all day long
  • Dependable — we count on our crew to show up on time, every time
  • Positive, energetic, and passionate about delivering a great guest experience
  • Experience with watercraft and knowledge of local waterways is a plus, but not required

Pay is based on experience, plus daily cash tips. Fluent in Spanish? There's extra compensation for you.

The details:
  • Seasonal summer position based at our Fort Walton Beach waterfront
  • Full day shifts — this is a commit-to-the-season kind of gig
  • Outdoor role — sun, salt air, and good vibes are part of the job description

Don't spend your summer inside. Come work where others vacation.
