REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Location: Ortega Animal Care Center - San Juan Capistrano, CA
Wage Range: $30.00 - $35.00 /hr.
$1,000 Signing Bonus!
Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) state license.

Our state-of-the-art facility features two dedicated DVMs and an experienced support team committed to the highest standards of care. We are dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in diagnostics, medical treatments, surgical procedures, and preventative wellness. Your Role - Clinical Driver & Leader
As a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), you will be encouraged to work at the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.
You will primarily utilize your skills in:
  • Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
  • Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).
  • Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.
  • Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
  • Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.
