Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid/Flexible)
Southern Cadence Cuisine is an award-winning luxury catering and event company specializing in unforgettable culinary experiences. We provide exceptional catering, private chef services, corporate events, weddings, social celebrations, and full-service event production throughout the Greater Houston area.
We're looking for a driven, well-connected hospitality sales professional who thrives on building relationships and closing high-value events.
The Catering Sales Executive is responsible for generating new catering business through networking, prospecting, referrals, venue partnerships, and relationship management.
This is an independent, commission-only position designed for experienced hospitality sales professionals who are confident in developing their own pipeline while representing a premium luxury brand.
- Generate qualified leads for corporate catering, weddings, galas, nonprofit events, private dinners, and social celebrations.
- Build relationships with event planners, venue managers, executive assistants, HR professionals, and community organizations.
- Attend networking events and represent Southern Cadence Cuisine professionally.
- Conduct sales calls and client consultations.
- Prepare proposals and collaborate with our culinary and operations teams to develop customized event experiences.
- Follow up with leads promptly and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales process.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects and sales activity within our CRM.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Southern Cadence Cuisine.
- Minimum 3 years of hospitality or catering sales experience (required).
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Existing network within the Houston hospitality or corporate event market is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Professional appearance and polished presentation.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation for client meetings and networking events.
