Destination Pet is looking for a Professional Dog Groomer to help with the influx of dogs at Ortega Animal Care Center.

Need a new set of Grooming Clippers? No Problem! Here at Destination Pet, we want our groomers to have nothing but the best!
What is required of our employees?
  • 2 years of Professional Grooming experience (required).
  • A great attitude!
  • Is available to work Sunday, Monday and Tuesday shifts.
  • MUST LOVE DOGS - We have a lot of them!
  • Be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Grooming requires some standing, walking and physical activity.
  • Be proficient at handling dogs.
  • Work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation

*If you have no experience and are looking to start a career as a Professional Groomer, please apply on our website Destinationpet.com under support staff. After 6 months of full-time or part-time employment with Destination Pet, you can attend Paragon School of Pet Grooming free of charge. *
What about the pay?
You have the CHOICE to CHOOSE commission or an hourly rate for 60 days
  • 50% commission or 40% commission if you are working with a bather thus allowing you to do more dogs and make more money. 30% on basic bath (Usually the kennel staff does these, but sometimes they need help)
  • Or will receive an hourly wage for 60 days.

The choice is completely up to YOU!
Bonus points for being willing to bathe and groom cats as well as experience with sedated grooms and/or pets with medical conditions.
