Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000
Job Summary
Responsible for end-to-end AOG operations with aim of finding and delivering the fastest and most efficient shipping plans in accordance with customer requirements. Propose alternative, innovative solutions regarding airlines, route, transit time and pricing, including exceptional services, counter to counter, hand carries, charters, etc. Mediate between customers, their suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our proposed solutions.
Essential Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Create and complete operational files for each shipment on the dedicated software system to include billing, ship freight, prepare documentation, assess charges, and collect fees for shipments.
- Examine shipping, documents, invoices, shipping manifests, bills of lading for conformity to tariff and regulatory compliance.
- Organize oneself to manage the volume of activity
- Report all serious difficulties and potential service failures to AOG operations Supervisor, or other escalation point
- Identify opportunities to add value to the services provided, as well as continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with local offices, networks, and vendors
- Ensure complete and proper handling of our expedited solutions from pick up to destination, according to objectives and transit times
- Responsible for timely communications, conflict resolution, and compliance.
- Ensure information flows between all parties, all received communications are acknowledged and updated periodically according to customer requirements
- Plan and direct flow of air traffic moving to and from overseas destinations including dangerous goods, oversized cargo, customs clearance, etc. as necessary.
- Negotiates with domestic suppliers as intermediary for foreign customers to resolve problems and arrive at mutual agreements
Requirements
- Flexibility for various 24/7 shifts and on call hours.
- Proven account management or other customer support experience
- Experience in Aerospace and Logistics
- Demonstrate ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to details
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Manage stressful situations and deadline pressures well

Education and/or Experience
BA/BS or equivalent industry experience of 2+ years industry experience
Language Skills
Proficient command of the English language- French a plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
