This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is hungry to learn, wants real hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies, and is looking to grow with a company that is investing in its people and its future.

You will be working in a structured, team-oriented environment where no two days are exactly the same. You will play a key role in keeping our client environments running smoothly by triaging incoming requests, deploying new users and devices, and supporting on-site setups when clients need boots on the ground. This role is primarily on-site at our West Palm Beach headquarters with some flexibility for remote work over time.

Roles & Responsibilities

Ticket Triage & Queue Management

  • Monitor and triage incoming tickets for the deployment team, categorizing and prioritizing work so the right tasks get to the right people
  • Handle straightforward requests end-to-end and escalate more complex issues to senior team members with clear notes on what has already been done
  • Keep tickets updated with accurate documentation and time entries throughout the process
  • Communicate with clients professionally to gather information, set expectations, and confirm completions

User & Device Deployment

  • Execute new user setups across our client base using our automation and deployment tooling
  • Provision and configure workstations, laptops, and peripherals to client and company standards
  • Perform Microsoft 365 user account creation, license assignment, and onboarding tasks
  • Follow deployment checklists and documented procedures accurately and thoroughly
  • Support device offboarding including account deprovisioning and hardware processing

On-Site Support

  • Assist with on-site device setups, hardware installations, and new user orientations at client locations
  • Support scheduled on-site visits for deployment-related work alongside senior team members
  • Represent VXIT professionally at all client locations in appearance and communication

Team Support

  • Work closely with senior deployment team members and learn from every engagement
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate asset records and inventory documentation
  • Support the broader service team with overflow tickets during high-volume periods
  • Participate in team meetings and bring a positive, coachable attitude every day

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 including user account management, Outlook, and Teams
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) user management
  • Comfortable working with hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Experience with or exposure to RMM and PSA tools is a plus
  • MSP experience is a plus but not required
  • CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred but not required

Non-Technical Skills

  • Detail-oriented and thorough, you follow processes carefully and document your work
  • Strong communicator in writing and in person, comfortable interacting with clients directly
  • Coachable and eager to learn, you ask good questions and take feedback well
  • Reliable and punctual, the team counts on you to show up ready to work
  • Positive attitude and a genuine interest in growing your IT career
  • Team player who takes pride in contributing to something larger than their own ticket queue
