Job Overview:

Pay Range: $19.00hr - $24.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in desktop support.
  • Experience with Windows and MacOS troubleshooting, including OS updates, encryption, and Office for Mac.
  • Knowledge of networking including LAN/WAN connectivity troubleshooting, cross-connects, and port utilization monitoring.
  • Experience with hardware installations including Wireless AP swap-out and Switch install/swap-out.
  • Proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac, and MacMini.
  • Experience with OneDrive setup, migrations, and OneNote Cloud Sharing.
  • Familiarity with installing printer drivers and IP/Cloud printing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot consumer replaceable hardware, BIOS, Drivers, and OS.

Responsibilities:

  • Address hardware and application support queries and issues reported to the support desk.
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
  • Troubleshoot encryption and password issues.
  • Attempt data recovery on failed systems.
  • Assist with video conferencing equipment readiness and support.
  • Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues, and problems assigned to the engineering team.
  • Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required to ensure quick resolution.
  • Maintain composure when dealing with challenging customers.
  • Provide technical setup and troubleshooting for mobile devices.
