Job description

Founding Designer

Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive salary + meaningful equity (founding tier)

Backed by 8VC, we're building a world-class team to tackle one of the industry’s most critical infrastructure problems.

The Role: Founding Designer

We’re looking for a sharp, systems-minded Product Designer to join our fast-growing product team. This is a high-impact opportunity to design tools that will reshape how the automotive world collaborates with its suppliers.

You’ll partner directly with our founding team, engineers, and industry experts to create a first-of-its-kind experience for the industrial enterprise — all powered by AI.

What You'll Do
  • Define & Shape: Take ambiguous problems and shape them into structured product experiences. You’ll help define what features should be and how they should feel.

  • Design Workflows for AI Agents: Translate complex workflows into intuitive, action-driven user experiences — balancing automation with control, and AI intelligence with human oversight.

  • Think in Systems: Design components and flows that scale across multiple modules, teams, and use cases — from dashboards to agent actions to supplier profiles.

  • Collaborate Deeply: Work hand-in-hand with engineers, PMs, and AI researchers to build smart, usable, high-performance interfaces.

  • Own the Craft: Lead end-to-end design execution — from wireframes and research to polished prototypes and developer handoff.

  • Drive Feedback Loops: Conduct lightweight user research, gather customer feedback, and iterate quickly to improve usability and impact.

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience designing B2B SaaS products, ideally in data-rich or workflow-heavy environments

  • Proven ability to lead the design of complex features end-to-end, especially those involving multiple user personas or integrations

  • Experience building (and contributing to) design systems for responsive web applications

  • Strong product sense — you think beyond the pixels to what drives user value and business outcomes

  • Familiarity with designing interfaces that involve automation, recommendations, or AI-driven elements

  • A portfolio that showcases systems thinking, interaction design, and final visual polish

  • Experience designing tools for industrial, logistics, or data-heavy products

  • Experience with data visualization, decision support tools, or building products for operational users

Why Join Fabrion
  • You’ll help define a new category of intelligent industrial infrastructure

  • You’ll work with top-tier talent from AI, enterprise software

  • You’ll have autonomy, ownership, and visibility across the company

  • You’ll design for real-world impact — not incremental UI, but end-to-end industry transformation
