The Instructional Designer manages the full instructional design lifecycle—from needs assessment through content creation, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement—to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.

Working closely with Human Resources, Clinical Operations, Operations, and department leaders, the Instructional Designer creates standardized learning experiences for new hires and existing employees, develops role-specific training for healthcare positions, and supports organizational growth through effective learning and development strategies.

  • Develop and maintain onboarding programs for all new hires, ensuring a consistent and engaging employee experience.
  • Partner with department leaders and subject matter experts to design role-specific training for healthcare and corporate positions.
  • Standardize training content and learning pathways across newly acquired practices and business units.

  • Ensure all training materials align with company policies, regulatory requirements, healthcare compliance standards, and organizational best practices.
  • Support organizational initiatives by developing training related to new systems, processes, policies, acquisitions, and strategic projects.
  • Stay current on instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and healthcare industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, corporate training, or healthcare education.
  • Experience managing the full instructional design lifecycle from concept through implementation.
  • Experience developing onboarding programs and role-specific learning curricula.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience creating engaging learning content using Microsoft Office and instructional design tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.).
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance, HIPAA, CMS regulations, and operational workflows.
