Job Title: Project Designer

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Compensation: $57,000 - $75,000

Our client is seeking a collaborative and client-focused Designer to support the launch and growth of a new Des Moines studio. This role will play a key part in helping shape workplace environments through thoughtful space planning, design development, product specification, and project coordination while partnering closely with Account Executives, clients, and project teams throughout the full project lifecycle.


The Designer will work directly with clients to understand workplace needs, develop creative and functional design solutions, conduct site verifications, create working drawings and specifications, and support successful project implementation from concept through installation. This individual will also collaborate with external partners including A&D firms, contractors, engineers, and client IT teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.


The ideal candidate will bring a degree in Interior Design along with prior experience in contract furniture, workplace interiors, or commercial design environments. Strong space planning abilities, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are important for success in this role. Experience presenting to clients, live designing alongside sales teams, and understanding workplace trends, ergonomics, and furniture applications is highly valued.
