Job Summary

The client is seeking a talented Interior Designer with 3-5 years of professional experience to join its growing design team.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing interior design concepts for residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architects, consultants, vendors, and clients throughout all phases of design and construction.

Candidates with an architectural background and a passion for interior design are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage multiple interior design projects from concept through construction administration

  • Develop design concepts, presentations, and client presentations

  • Produce 2D and 3D design drawings

  • Create construction documents and detailed design packages

  • Prepare project schedules and coordinate project deliverables

  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams

  • Research and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, materials, and equipment (FF&E)

  • Source products and maintain design libraries

  • Coordinate furniture procurement, budgeting, ordering, tracking, and installation

  • Attend client meetings, consultant meetings, and showroom visits

  • Prepare interior architectural detailing including casework and custom millwork

  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule while maintaining high design quality

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of professional interior design experience

  • Strong experience in residential and/or commercial interior design

  • Ability to communicate design ideas through drawings and presentations

  • Experience preparing construction drawing sets

  • Strong knowledge of FF&E specifications and procurement

  • Experience detailing interior architecture including custom cabinetry and furniture

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Self-motivated with a desire for professional growth

  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills

  • Knowledge of current design trends, materials, and industry innovations

  • Must be based in the Los Angeles area and legally authorized to work in the United States
