What are Designer Checkers?

Designer Checkers are professionals responsible for reviewing and verifying technical drawings, blueprints, and design documents before they are finalized or sent to production. Their role ensures that all designs comply with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations, identifying errors or inconsistencies that could cause issues later in the project. Familiarity with industry-standard CAD platforms (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA), standards (like ASME or ISO), and quality control processes is essential. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for reviewing designs and collaborating with engineering teams. These skills ensure design accuracy, regulatory compliance, and the prevention of costly errors in the production process.

What qualifications are needed to be a checker?
