Job description

WHO ARE WE?
Horsepower Automotive Group (HPAG), is a leader in the growing automotive aftermarket industryWhen you join HPAG, you'll have a unique opportunity to be a part of our exciting and rapidly growing, multi-brand organization. Our brands include Addictive Desert Designs, DV8 Offroad, Flatline Van Co., and Rago Fabrication. We support a collaborative environment and value open participation from individuals with different ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
Are you ready to be part of our future?
Ever stare at a Raptor, Bronco, or Ram TRX and thought, "I could make that look even better"? So do we - every single day. Join our team and design the next generation of aftermarket accessories for Ford Raptors, Broncos, Ram TRXs, and other off-road vehicles. From 3D scan to finished product, you'll own the design process and see your work installed on real vehicles across the country.
Here at HPAG we build premium, made-in-America bumpers and accessories that flow with a vehicle's bodylines, deliver aggressive styling, and keep every OEM function intact. From the Bronco Bomber to the Raptor Stealth Fighter, our products live on some of the toughest trucks on the trail - and it all starts in CAD.
We're looking for a CAD Designer Lead to turn bold ideas into manufacturable reality at our Chandler, Arizona facility. This role is focused on designing a quality product with great aesthetic look and style combined with enough structure to last for a lifetime once installed. If you enjoy the design side over the hard core engineering side this may be a great fit for you, come be part of that creative team!
Why You'll Love This Role
  • You'll own the R&D design process end-to-end - creating, refining, and improving products built for the off-road community.
  • Your designs won't sit on a shelf. They get laser-cut, bent, welded, and bolted onto real trucks.
  • You'll work hands-on with a prototype engineering team that takes parts from screen to physical reality.
  • Made in the USA, built for the elite - you'll be part of a team obsessed with the details that matter.
What You'll Do
  • Create CAD models in SolidWorks daily - from templates, physical parts, or your own designs.
  • Build complex 3D sheet metal and tubular assemblies ready for manufacturing.
  • Process 3D scans and create scanned mesh models of vehicle data to drive new product development.
  • Partner with the prototype engineering team to move new products into automation and production.
  • Take open instructions on part and assembly revisions and run with them.
What You Bring - Position Requirements
  • Must Have
    • SolidWorks experience
    • Sheet metal and welded assemblies design experience
    • Manufacturing drawing experience
    • 3+ years CAD design experience
    Nice to Have

    • 3D scanning experience
    • GD&T
    • Fixture design
    • Off-road enthusiast
Pay & Benefits

  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Paid time off.
  • Employee discount on the gear you'll help create.
  • Employee referral program.
Schedule & Location
  • Full-time, 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday.
  • On-site at our Chandler, AZ facility.
