Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and brokers, identifying creative solutions to place risks and uncover product opportunities
  • Manage accounts of all sizes, with a focus on independently handling larger accounts over time
  • Identify and cultivate new brokerage markets and product opportunities
  • Travel and entertain clients and prospects to strengthen relationships
  • Mentor and train new brokers, fostering their professional growth
  • Develop and submit underwriting referrals to company brokerage facilities and management as needed
  • Monitor key performance metrics, including new business hit ratio, renewal retention ratio, premium growth, and loss ratio, and implement corrective actions when necessary
Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional lines experience preferred
  • Strong sales and marketing skills required
  • Interest in continued education and professional development
  • RPLU designation preferred
  • Ability to perform tasks in a stationary position throughout working hours
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to build and maintain client relationships
