Job description

  • Areas of expertise include aerospace primary and secondary structure design, payloads design and system support design
  • Must have expertise in Catia V5 (Workbench – Part Design, Assembly Design, Sheetmetal, Generative Shape Design (GSD), 3D Functional Tolerancing and Annotations (FTA))
  • Must have experience on Relational and Parametric Modelling.
  • Must have good knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) and understanding of Engineering drawings in both 2D/Model Based Definition (MBD)
  • Expertise in V4/ Mylar Sheet to V5 Conversion for both 3D and 2D/MBD
  • Creating manufacturing (detail, assembly, installation) 2D Drawings/3D MBD as per ASME Standard
  • Design of components considering Tolerance stack up, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Must be able to coordinate and communicate with the team members
  • Must have experience in PLM Software Enovia, 3D Experience
  • Must have experience in Sustenance and Change Request projects.
  • Experience in Boeing Project and Catia Composite Part Design (CPD) workbench will be advantage.

Having CAD Automation experience will be advantage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering
  • 4 -5 years of experience in an engineering classification / position

Comprehensive knowledge on Aircraft life cycle, Fuselage & Systems

Experience in Aerospace structures & payloads design, CATIA V5, Enovia, CAD Automation

  • Experience in an Aircraft or Aerospace Manufacturing environment
  • Know-How of CAD tool CATIA V5, PLM tool ENOVIA, CAD Automation, 3D Experience
  • Microsoft Office - advanced skill level
  • Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
