The Design Engineer prepares engineering designs and calculations, provides technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, supports product development initiatives, and helps drive business growth through technical consultation and customer support.

- Develop project-specific engineering solutions, including hydraulic, geotechnical, and structural designs.
- Review project plans, specifications, and calculations to recommend appropriate product solutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- EI or EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
- 3-5 years of civil engineering experience with an emphasis in culverts, stormwater, retaining walls, bridges, tunnels, or relate infrastructure projects.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Working knowledge of engineering design software, project management software, and CRM systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in hydraulic, geotechnical, or structural engineering.

- Experience with open-channel hydraulic design.
