You'll have...

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.   3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:  1. Using CAD to view, measure, and cut sections, including a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). 2. Designing and releasing parts for mass production, including hands-on experience launching vehicles into production. 3. Solving problems using engineering analysis and 8D methodologies.  1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Designing parts/systems using Failure Mode Avoidance tools (Boundary Diagram, P-Diagram, DFMEA, SCCAF, and DVP&R). 2. Optimizing part design for cost and weight, utilizing benchmarking and CAE tools. 3. Designing sheet metal parts that are feasible for stamping, joining, and hemming. 4. Packaging components within a constrained environment.

We are offering a salary of $109,512.00 - $164,372.16/yr.

Lead the implementation of new architecture strategies and provide closed loop feedback to update side closures engineering standards and system requirements.
