Job description

The Healthcare Strategy Analyst serves an important role in the strategic framework development for Baptist Health South Florida, supporting enterprise strategy, analytics, and research. Works collaboratively in a team-based environment, is the analytic lead in the assessment and understating of internal business dynamics, external market drivers, and the quantification of current offerings and future opportunities. Develops, maintains and updates utilization, capacity and competitive databases to improve decision-making. Responsible for data mining, including collecting and synthesizing information from a variety of sources,routine ad hoc reporting, interpreting findings, and tracking performance. Assists with the development and monitoring of business plans, operational improvement initiatives, and financial analysis spanning the current and future continuum of service offerings and markets across South Florida. Maintains databases and software applications to ensure data accuracy, analytic integrity, and reporting validity.Estimated salary range for this position is $71940.93 - $93523.21 / year depending on experience.Degrees:
  • Bachelors.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Services Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics required.
  • Three years of quantitative analytic experience required, healthcare consulting, market research and analysis, or financial analysis preferred.
  • A Masters' Degree in Business Administration or Health Services Administration is preferred, and may be substituted for experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Access preferred.
  • Advanced data analytic skills to impact key business decisions required.
  • Experience in using business intelligence, competitive analyses, forecasting and visualization/mapping tools a plus, including Tableau, Premier, Advisory, SG2 or Diveport.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented complex problem solver, with an ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Some experience in organizational design, functional and business process design and improvement preferred.
Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
