  • Work on tenant improvements, new construction, and renovations of existing buildings
  • Produce drawings through all project phases
  • Coordinate drawings with specifications prepared by other team members
  • Coordinate M/E/P, structural, furniture, and AV consultants
  • Provide technical oversight and make independent project and team decisions
  • Coordinate project documentation with clients, consultants, contractors, and the project team
  • Review and implement building codes and ensure code compliance and constructability
  • Coordinate with the QA/QC team and implement recommendations
  • Participate in construction administration, including site visits, shop drawing reviews, RFIs, change orders, and pay application reviews
  • Receive direction from the Project Manager and Designer and potentially lead projects
  • Communicate with clients regarding design requirements, specifications, progress reviews, and final presentations
  • Work with the Project Manager, Designer, and client to confirm objectives and formulate options
  • Prepare and conduct design and technical presentations
  • Participate in marketing efforts
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the industry
  • Experience leading project documentation and coordination
  • Experience in healthcare, civic, and education projects
  • Experience in all phases of architectural design (SD-CA)
  • Ability to coordinate all aspects of assigned projects
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Excellent follow-through skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and consistently meet deadlines
