POSITION
We are seeking talented and motivated Design Interns to join our team. This is an ideal role for students interested in pursuing a career in event design who bring a strong creative perspective and eager to contribute meaningfully to live events. This internship will run from May 2026 through August 2026.
Ideal Candidates Will Have Experience With:
  • AutoCAD
  • VectorWorks
  • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • SketchUp

As part of our team, you will support all aspects of the corporate and private event production process-from the initial research phase to onsite support. Responsibilities include:
  • Assist in client meeting preparation and development of documents such as design concepts and meeting notes
  • Research and order event design elements, fabric, rentals, and more
  • Assist in the development and production of digital and printed materials (which may include event signage, invitations, e-mail campaigns, and client-facing deliverables), using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Contribute to the creation of 3D renderings, floor plans, and visual presentations
  • Assist with answering office phones, filing, data entry such as event expenses and maintaining equipment and supplies
  • Assist project managers in sourcing and securing vendors and venues
  • Assist in office with various administrative tasks, pick up and drop offs of packages, documents, etc.
  • Support on site event team, assist with set-up, supplies, crew meals, and guest check-in and support
  • Interns may have the opportunity to travel domestically to on-site events
No two days are the same, and interns are expected to be flexible, engaged, and ready to learn.
Compensation & School Credit:
  • Eligible for university credit
  • $17.00 per hour (eligible for overtime)
  • Reimbursement for any event-related expenses

Weekly Commitment:
  • Up to 40 hours per week

Location:
Our office is located in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City.
