Web amp; HTML Email Design Internship
Summer 2027- May 17th through August 13th
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Level: Intern
Division / Department: Marketing/Ecommerce
Reporting to position: Web Design Supervisor

About the Role:
The Web amp; HTML Email Design Intern will focus on enhancing our digital marketing strategies. After gaining an understanding of our search engine optimization (SEO) and content management practices, they will start optimizing current articles for SEO and improving linking strategies. Their responsibilities include conducting audits of member microsites to guarantee compliance with performance standards, assisting in the management of project assignments and workloads, and developing SEO landing pages to enhance merchandising initiatives.
Additionally, this individual will work on designing social media graphics for ad campaigns and developing email templates in AJO, all contributing to our broader marketing and digital outreach goals.
This is a temporary position beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027. This internship is paid on an hourly basis.
No relocation is offered, candidates must be local to the Fort Wayne, Indiana area for the Summer 2027 timeframe.
The Intern may also be able to use this opportunity towards university/college credit.

Responsibilities include:
  • Enhance member microsites through the AEM atmosphere
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud to design social media graphics and email templates specifically for AJO
  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing landing pages to identify optimization opportunities
  • Improve search engine optimization (SEO) and integrate relevant links into current articles
  • Assist in allocating and evaluating assignment projects and workload to ensure effective resource management
  • Create SEO-optimized landing pages for site merchandising
  • Collaborate on the creation of social media graphics for ad campaigns
