You will translate UX/UI design specifications into responsive, highly accessible, production‑ready interfaces, architect component‑based front‑end systems, design efficient API integrations with back‑end teams, and ensure robust quality control and accessibility compliance across all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate design specifications and prototypes into fully accessible, standards‑compliant user interfaces (e.g., Section 508, WCAG).
  • Collaborate with back-end engineers to design and integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs, optimizing data flow between client interfaces and server‑side components.
  • Contribute to full-stack engineering efforts, including back‑end microservices, database interfaces, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Design, optimize, and execute complex database/repository interfaces and queries.
  • Confer with systems engineers, hardware teams, and mission stakeholders to derive software requirements, evaluate system resource constraints, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Author and review comprehensive system documentation, test plans, and software engineering standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Full-Stack & APIs: Practical full-stack experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java) and RESTful/GraphQL API design.
  • DevOps & Tools: Experience with Git version control, CI/CD automated build pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Technical Leadership: Proven track record leading engineering teams, managing code reviews, and enforcing software quality standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience deploying software within commercial or classified cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud).
  • Hands‑on development experience in Linux/Ubuntu operating environments and tiered enterprise architectures.
  • Deep knowledge of web accessibility mandates, Section 508 compliance, and WCAG guidelines.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Basic Life and Disability Insurance
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match
