  • Generate Gerber data and complete fabrication documentation
  • Create and maintain PCB component footprints and libraries from manufacturer datasheets
  • Interpret electrical schematics to produce optimized, cost-conscious PCB layouts
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering, manufacturing, and vendor partners to balance electrical, thermal, and packaging requirements
  • Apply and interpret electrical standards such as UL, CSA, and IEC in your designs

What You Bring

  • Experience designing complex PCBs (8+ layers) using Altium Designer (Cadence Allegro experience also considered)
  • Associate's degree in electronics design/engineering plus relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • Experience designing boards for industrial or other harsh-environment applications is strongly preferred over a purely consumer-electronics background
  • Willing to work on-site in San Antonio, TX, or to travel/commute on-site regularly if based elsewhere in Texas
  • Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the state of Texas
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, including an HSA-qualified plan option with employer contributions
  • Employer-paid basic life/AD&D coverage, plus short- and long-term disability coverage at no cost to employees
  • 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 6% of pay
  • Paid vacation/PTO, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and bereavement leave
  • Tuition reimbursement and scholarship program
  • Wellness program, including a quarterly wellness bonus and an Employee Assistance Program
