Job description

Your role
As a Application Engineer, your mission is to develop technical and commercial proposals for centrifugal compressor packages-ensuring solutions meet customer requirements while supporting the global sales team in securing new business. You will report to the Application Engineering Manager.
You will
  • Review customer specifications and perform compressor calculations to develop optimized technical solutions
  • Prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals, including cost structures and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering, vendors, and internal teams to define scope, source components, and ensure proposal alignment
  • Engage with customers through meetings and discussions to clarify requirements and support negotiation
  • Support the full sales cycle by handing off awarded projects to execution teams and ensuring a smooth transition

You have 3-10 years of experience in engineering, application engineering, or turbomachinery/compressor environments.
  • Strong technical foundation in engineering and ability to apply business/commercial thinking
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience with centrifugal compressors, turbomachinery, or energy markets (oil & gas, power, hydrogen, etc.)
