The Airborne Antenna Design department headquartered in McKinney, Texas is responsible for full-scope Independent Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for antenna products, including architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions.

This is an onsite role, located in McKinney, Texas.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the design, development, and deployment of Radio Frequency (RF) passive circuits (radiators, RF manifolds, RF transitions, etc.) and electromagnetic (EM) modeling.

  • Implement best practice standards with regard to the planning, coordination, and execution of RF passive circuit design and EM modeling with sound engineering process discipline and leadership.

  • Follow established procedures and instructions while working closely with program and functional leadership to ensure that overall design objectives are met. 

  • Responsible for developing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems. 

  • Travel may be periodically required 

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree and a minimum of 2 years’ prior relevant experience, to include any combination of the following: 

  • Experience in passive circuit design and / or EM modeling

  • Experience performing structured design processes, root-cause problem solving, and successful on-time / on-schedule task execution

  • Experience with test equipment including Antenna Ranges, Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and / or Power Meters, etc

 Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, Matlab, and AutoCAD

  • Capable of providing input or guidance to lower-level engineers  

  • Ability to manage conflicting or non-existent requirements in a rapidly changing environment 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
