  • Work in close collaboration with the project management team. Specifically, manage the design contract on design-build projects.
  • Prepare and monitor project design budget and schedules.
  • Provide oversight and supervision over the technical work of the design team.
  • Lead and foster collaboration between design and construction teams.
  • Review construction plans and specifications for compliance with contract requirements as the design is developed.
  • Coordinate project designs with federal, state, and local agencies, utility companies, regulatory/approval agencies, and other third-party stakeholders.
  • Resolve design issues, in collaboration with design and construction teams, as they arise.
  • Assist in the preparation of design-build proposals.
