This isn't just a sales job — it's a chance to build your own flooring business within a proven system.
Floor Coverings International of Chester County is seeking an experienced flooring sales professional who wants more than a traditional retail sales position. We provide the tools, support, and qualified opportunities to help you build a highly successful business while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
As a Design Associate, you'll meet homeowners in their homes, guide them through flooring selections, create solutions that fit their needs, and manage projects from consultation through installation.
What You'll Do
  •  Conduct in-home flooring consultations.
  •  Help homeowners select flooring products that fit their style, lifestyle, and budget.
  •  Measure spaces and prepare proposals.
  •  Follow up on estimates and close sales.
  •  Coordinate with project management and installation teams.
  •  Deliver a high-touch customer experience throughout the project.
  •  Build and maintain relationships with realtors, designers, builders, networking groups, and referral partners.
  •  Develop your own book of business in addition to company-provided opportunities.
 What We Provide
  •  Company-provided pre-qualified leads.
  •  Mobile showroom with thousands of flooring samples.
  •  Proven sales process and technology.
  •  Marketing support.
  •  Dedicated project management support.
  •  Training and ongoing coaching.
  •  Company vehicle.
What We're Looking For
  •  Previous flooring sales experience strongly preferred.
  •  Proven ability to close sales and build relationships.
  •  Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
  •  Strong communication and organizational skills.
  •  Comfortable working independently.
  •  Ability to network and generate referral business.
  •  Valid driver's license and reliable transportation history.
Compensation
  •  Average earnings: $80,000+
  •  Top performers: $120,000+
  •  High achievers: $180,000–$250,000+
Compensation is performance-based and designed to reward motivated professionals who are willing to build relationships, network in the community, and create long-term referral partnerships.
Why Join Floor Coverings International?
Unlike traditional retail flooring stores, we bring the showroom directly to the customer. You'll help homeowners make decisions in the environment where the flooring will actually be installed, leading to a better customer experience and higher closing rates.
If you're an experienced flooring sales professional looking for unlimited earning potential, a supportive team, and the opportunity to build something meaningful, we'd love to talk with you.
