Job description

Join our Executive Compensation team as an Associate!

As an Associate within Executive Compensation, you will be instrumental in the strategy, design, and execution of our executive compensation program. Your role will involve analyzing executive compensation data, design and practices, developing insights for senior management, supporting the Compensation & Management Development Committee (CMDC) of the Board, and articulating our executive compensation program in external disclosures.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare for Compensation & Management Development Committee meetings throughout the year, including developing materials, coordinating with stakeholders, and tracking meeting takeaways
  • Contribute to the development of the Compensation Discussion & Analysis section of the proxy statement, and support shareholder outreach efforts related to Say-on-Pay and other compensation-related proposals
  • Monitor and maintain optimal knowledge of peer compensation programs, industry trends, proxy advisor policies (e.g. ISS and Glass Lewis), and regulatory reporting and tax requirements related to executive compensation
  • Review and analyze compensation programs, outcomes and financial performance of the Firm and competitors, conduct pay-for-performance forecasts, and coordinate with key stakeholders to enable compliance with compensation-related regulations
  • Provide analytical support for ad hoc research projects and logistical support for annual tasks (e.g., testing, document management, etc.)
  • Develop deep understanding of processes and work with team to leverage AI tools to streamline and automate tasks such as Compensation & Management Development Committee preparation and benchmarking


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related area
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in executive compensation, investor relations, finance, strategy 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and navigate between big picture and small details
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, problem-solve, and work both collaboratively and independently
  • Self-initiator with a high degree of intellectual curiosity, a strong work ethic, sound judgement, and personal integrity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate strong partnerships
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and an interest in AI tools
