Role Qualifications:
  • Registered Architect or Architectural Designer with 10+ years of experience in a lead architectural role on projects from programming and concept development through construction completion.
  • Experience with working with clients on development of their program and maintaining strong client relationships through the project.
  • Strong technically with the ability to lead the architectural design and documentation by supporting in the process and also directing other staff in the completion of the construction documents, specifications, and construction administration.
  • Proficient with code requirements, specifications, and construction building methods and materials.
  • Revit/BIM experience required.
  • Experienced at leading staff through the technical documentation of various projects.
  • Proficient at coordinating various disciplines of design working with internal team members and consultants.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, professional writing skills and the ability to multi-task between several projects and priorities at one time.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Leading the architectural design and documentation and construction administration tasks for Public Building projects in the Project Architect role.
  • Assists in project master planning and visioning sessions.
  • Mentors staff on technical details for the project.
  • Supports and/or leads client meetings and correspondence.
  • Coordination with all disciplines of design including our in-house engineers, designers, renderers as well as outside consultants.
  • Coordinating other field services such as land and building surveys, environmental studies, and geotechnical studies.
  • Participating and leading design efforts.
