Position Overview

We’re looking for a sales-driven, customer-focused professional to help clients find the perfect furniture for their homes. This role is all about building relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing expert guidance—whether that means selling a piece directly from the showroom floor or walking them through the process of designing a custom piece. The ideal candidate will have a passion for home design, strong communication skills, and the ability to close sales while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Customer Service
    • Engage with showroom visitors, build rapport, and assess their furniture needs
    • Sell high-quality furniture directly from the floor or guide customers through custom orders
    • Educate clients on wood species, finishes, and design options to help them make confident decisions
    • Follow up with leads, answer inquiries, and convert interest into sales
    • Handle invoicing, deposits, and payment processing with attention to detail
  • Showroom Management
    • Open and close the store, ensuring a professional and inviting environment
    • Keep showroom displays updated and well-organized
    • Maintain product knowledge and stay informed about new inventory and custom options
  • Scheduling & Logistics
    • Coordinate customer pickups and schedule furniture deliveries
    • Work closely with the workshop team to track production timelines for custom orders
    • Ensure smooth communication between customers and the delivery team

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, retail, or customer service (furniture, home décor, or luxury goods preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—ability to connect with customers and sell with confidence
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for closing sales
  • Ability to explain craftsmanship, materials, and design options to customers
  • Organized and detail-oriented, comfortable managing orders and logistics
  • Interest in interior design or woodworking is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary + commission on sales
  • Opportunities for growth within a high-end design showroom
  • Employee discount on custom furniture
