Job Summary

Production Associates are trained in multiple areas of Delta Controls manufacturing department. From time to time, Production Associates may be moved around to perform different roles in different areas of manufacturing, to accommodate the changing demands of the business. Production Associates duties will vary depending upon experience, training and ability.

Duties and Responsibilities

Production Test

  • Test product as per documented test procedures.
  • Perform quick visual inspections for missed/incorrect components.
  • Record data from test procedure by serial number in the Delta Production software.
  • Identify product as passed or failed, and move product along assembly process (Repairs/Final Assembly), accordingly.

Final Assembly

  • Understand the work flow and products.
  • Assemble electronic products as per work instructions.
  • Deliver outputs by meeting the quality standards within the standard time.
  • Perform proper data entries as per requirements.
  • Ready to perform any departmental tasks to support the team.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks under time constraints to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Punctual and has a good attendance.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and comprehension skills, both verbal and written, for the purpose of receiving and following instructions, recording and interpreting data, and communicating with fellow employees in person and by email.
  • Able to operate basic hand tools (manual and electric).
  • Able to follow example documentation to meet product requirements.

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
