We specialize in delivering high-quality electrical contracting services to clients of all sizes. As electrical experts, we have established ourselves as leaders in our region across all facets of electrical contracting. Our experience and capabilities enable us to collaborate with clients throughout the entire lifecycle of their electrical systems, from pre-construction and design services to construction and maintenance.
What You Will Do
  • Produce precise electrical estimates for various project types, including large commercial, industrial, high-tech, vertical high rise, and health care facilities.
  • Work independently or under the direction of designated project lead.
  • Read and understand civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, tele data, security, fire alarm, audio visual plans, and specifications as they relate to the electrical work.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of, and clearly communicate, estimated scope of work.
  • Develop project take-offs and equipment counts based upon the specifications and drawings.
  • Utilize technology tools to perform and document electrical budgets. (BlueBeam, Accubid, LiveCount preferably)
  • Utilize understanding of basic circuitry and wiring methods for electrical systems
  • Participate in Estimating team and review meetings and clearly define your estimate work product.
  • Provide support and training of estimating processes, procedures and systems for junior estimators, interns, and other team members as necessary.
  • Contribute to and support value engineering exercises.
  • Contribute to scope letter content.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or 5+ years of electrical estimating experience and/or training in commercial, industrial, high-tech, vertical high-rise, and health care industries; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with preparing, completing, explaining, and reviewing complex estimates with Chief Estimator
  • Experience with delivery models: Plan & Spec, Design-Assist, and Design-Build. Quick learner to grasp existing estimating process and procedures.
  • Experience with the appropriate application of a wide variety of electrical materials and methods of installation as it relates to database materials and assemblies to individual estimates.
  • PRIME is a fast-paced environment, and a strong work ethic is required.
  • Must have strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of NEC, local codes and construction methods
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, BlueBeam and/or Accubid and LiveCount
