Description:
At Olson's Ace Hardware, we believe every home improvement project starts with
great advice. As a Showroom Design Consultant, you'll inspire and guide
customers through the design process of transforming their homes.
In this role, you'll combine creativity, product knowledge, and exceptional
customer service to help customers bring their vision to life. You'll provide
personalized design consultations, recommend solutions that fit each customer's
style and budget, and build lasting relationships that drive repeat business.
What You'll Do
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by guiding customers
through every step of the design process-from inspiration and product
selection to ordering and project completion.
- Build strong relationships through outstanding service, follow-up, and
product expertise that earns customer trust and loyalty.
- Cultivate appointments for the In-Home Services and work
collaboratively with the designer.
- Meet and exceed individual and department sales goals while
contributing to the overall success of the store.
- Develop new business through networking, referrals, community
engagement, and customer follow-up.
- Stay current on product trends, color palettes, window treatment
innovations, and wall covering collections to provide expert
recommendations.
- Utilize technology including Outlook, Excel, point-of-sale systems,
scheduling software, ticketing systems, and vendor ordering platforms to
manage customer projects efficiently.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Must schedule appointments using a request form or scheduling
software
- Ability to perform light lifting.

home fashions. Professional design experience is welcomed but not
required.

- Availability to work at least one weekend day.
- Ability to perform light lifting and assist with showroom merchandising as
