Job description

We’re looking for a talented Project Architect to join our Kerrville team.

JSA Architects is seeking a Project Architect with experience in commercial, educational, institutional, or healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will be able to manage and coordinate all phases of a project, from concept through construction. Additional responsibilities may include design, architectural intern development, firm marketing, and client management.

We’re looking for someone with a team-oriented mindset who is eager to learn new design and construction methods and project types. Remote work arrangements outside our primary markets may be considered for the right candidate.

General Skills and Requirements

  • Work well with team members of various experience levels
  • Develop construction documents and oversee development by others
  • Proficiency in building component detailing and construction feasibility
  • Produce project specifications, probable cost estimates, and overall project schedules
  • Manage various projects through all phases of the architectural process
  • Accredited professional degree in architecture
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a licensed architect
  • Licensed to practice architecture in Texas
  • Revit proficiency is a plus
