A Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA) is a medical professional who works with a Dermatologist to provide a wide range of skin care. As a Dermatology PA, your responsibilities and duties include examining and diagnosing skin-related health concerns, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress under the supervision of a licensed dermatologist. You also maintain patient records, collect samples, and order lab tests, as needed. As a licensed PA, you are also able to write prescriptions and perform many procedures that treat various skin diseases, cosmetic issues, and injuries.
