As a Dermatology Nurse, you provide treatment for and educate patients about various skin conditions, such as rashes, burns, rosacea, and skin cancer. Your responsibilities and duties include providing dermatological care and services to patients of all ages. You provide cosmetic skin care for patients as well, under a dermatologist’s supervision. You need specialized training and knowledge in skin health as well as general medical training in the nursing field, including completion of a nurse program, to meet your state’s requirements for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
