About the Role

CAPS operates four locations, including a state-of-the-art Surgery Center! We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator responsible for answering telephones, scheduling patient appointments, and providing exceptional service to every patient present in our office. This is a fully onsite role.

You will partner with Patient Experience Leads and the Patient Experience Director to ensure a best-in-class patient experience, assist clinical teams by verifying patient insurance coverages, collecting payments and copayments, and performing all duties related to registering patients. You’ll provide information and communicate with various departments regarding front desk activity.

What You’ll Do
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, screen calls, take messages, and provide information.

  • Schedule and update patient appointments throughout the day.

  • Check voicemail from the previous evening.

  • Greet patients and other visitors in the CAPS waiting area.

  • Manage patient registration forms, HIPAA acknowledgment, and insurance verification.

  • Collect payments and copayments, reconciling and delivering to the Billing Team.

  • Maintain a neat and professional reception and retail area.

  • Use the computer system accurately for scheduling and patient check-ins/outs.

  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions with patients and staff.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications amp; Experience
  • Previous experience in customer service and front desk roles.

  • Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, cosmetology, and/or healthcare industries preferred, but not required.
