Job description

Job Summary

AURĀE Modern Medical + Spa is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with a Family Medicine Credentialing and Aesthetic Certificates to join our growing medical aesthetics team. This position will begin as a contract-based role, with a clear pathway to full-time employment as client demand and scheduling needs expand.

This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about medical aesthetics, wellness, and patient-centered care with Integrative Medicine focus and who values delivering a refined, high-touch client experience in a modern, luxury environment. The ideal candidate combines clinical excellence with strong interpersonal skills and takes pride in creating safe, personalized, and results-driven treatment experiences.

The APRN will perform medical aesthetic treatments in accordance with South Carolina nursing regulations, physician supervision requirements, and AURĀE’s internal protocols, while upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, educate them on treatment options, and deliver individualized care that supports confidence, wellness, and overall aesthetic goals within a luxury med spa setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct client consultations, intake assessments, and ongoing evaluations (assess, diagnose and treatment within scope of practice for APRN license and Credentialing board – Family Medicine)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans “good faith assessment exams” aligned with client goals and clinical best practices
  • Perform APRN-authorized aesthetic and wellness treatments, which may include:
  • Primary Care visits – wellness, acute and chronic, including hormone and integrative medicine
  • IV therapy and injections
  • Blood draws and lab coordination
  • Neuromodulators (e.g., Botox, Dysport) and dermal fillers (if trained and approved)
  • Microneedling, chemical peels, and Diamond Glow treatments (if trained and approved)
  • Monitor clients during and after treatments to ensure safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes
  • Identify and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or complications
  • Educate clients on treatment options, risks, benefits, and post-care instructions
  • Provide thoughtful, personalized recommendations aligned with client goals and wellness outcomes
  • Deliver a high-touch, concierge-level experience that fosters trust, retention, and long-term relationships
  • Ensure all treatments are performed within scope of practice and in accordance with South Carolina nursing regulations and physician supervision requirements
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and compliant medical documentation for all client interactions and treatments
  • Uphold infection control, safety, and cleanliness standards across all treatment areas
  • Collaborate with supervising physician and clinical leadership as needed for approvals, oversight, and escalation
  • Support scheduling, booking, and client flow to ensure a seamless experience
  • Assist with front-of-house responsibilities as needed
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming clinical environment
  • Collaborate with team members and wellness professionals to support holistic, client-centered care


Required Qualifications

  • Active South Carolina APRN license in good standing
  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) required (NP: advanced degree required)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Procedural Medicine Certification AAOPM or other Certifying Board
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional presence and commitment to delivering an elevated client experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience a must in a med spa, aesthetics, dermatology, or integrative wellness setting
  • Training and/or certification in injectables or aesthetic treatments
  • Experience with IV therapy and/or lab services
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
  • Confidence in educating clients on treatment plans and services (consultative, not sales-driven)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry:
    • Up to 15 lbs. regularly
    • Up to25 lbs. frequently
    • Up to 50 lbs. occasionally
