Job description

Executive Assistant & Controller

McLean & Potomac Dermatology and Skincare Center

Location: McLean, VA (on-site) | Full-Time, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Role

McLean & Potomac Dermatology and Skincare Center was founded by Dr. Lily Talakoub, a board-certified dermatologist recognized by Vogue, Allure, and Bloomberg for her work in patient education and dermatologic care. Since then, she's grown her brand to include Derm to Door, her virtual dermatology and skincare platform, and a new West Palm Dermatology and Skincare Center location, all rooted in the same warm, uplifting environment.

We're looking for an Executive Assistant & Controller to manage the financial operations and day-to-day priorities behind the scenes as the practice grows. You'll be the one keeping the books, the collections, and the founder's schedule running smoothly.

Our schedule is especially well-suited for someone returning to the workforce after time away who wants meaningful, high-level work without a grueling schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Own bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting across the organization
  • Manage collections and A/R (including patient/insurance billing), plus A/P and vendor relationships
  • Prepare regular financial reports; liaise with outside CPAs/tax preparers
  • Manage the founder's calendar, correspondence, and daily priorities
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion; anticipate needs before they're asked

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's or CPA a plus
  • 2+ years in accounting/controllership, with hands-on collections experience
  • 1+ years supporting a senior executive or business owner
  • Experience in a luxury environment
  • Extremely organized, discreet, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once
  • Strong QuickBooks/accounting software skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Range $70,000 - $125,000
  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance
  • Retirement savings plan options
Employment Type: FULL_TIME
