Job description

Position Overview: Are you a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a passion for litigation? If so, Robbins LLP wants to hear from you. We are seeking a dedicated and driven Staff Attorney to focus on document review and related discovery work. The document review will consist primarily of review on complex shareholder derivative actions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Document Review: Review, analyze, and manage vast quantities of documents related to shareholder derivative actions to find the key documents that will be used at depositions, during motion practice, and ultimately, at trial. The primary document review platforms are DISCO and Relativity, but experience with other platforms would also be useful.

2. Communication: Effectively communicate findings, analysis, and recommendations to the team and clients in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.

3. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our legal team, including partners, associates, and paralegals, to develop legal strategies, arguments, and case theories.

Education and Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA accredited school and active bar admission in California required.

2. Previous experience in corporate litigation and document review preferred, ideally in shareholder derivative actions, securities class actions, or other complex litigation.

3. Legal research and writing skills and/or motion practice work preferred.

4. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and process large volumes of data efficiently.

5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

6. A commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
