Job description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Registered Nurse – Primary Care Clinic. Part Time. Hours Part-time: 20 hours per week Business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–7:30 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM; Sunday, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM Assignments are expected to last six months; Opportunities for extension and conversion to full-time employment may be available. Compensation $58.80 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees. 401(k) with company match is available to full-time employees.

Responsibilities

Administer vaccinations, injections, and oral, intravenous, injectable, and topical medications. Obtain, monitor, and accurately document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature. Perform routine and complex patient assessments, monitor pain levels, identify abnormalities, and document treatment responses. Provide emergency care in collaboration with the on-site provider during emergent situations. Conduct medication reviews to identify potential side effects, contraindications, and drug interactions.

Perform mental health screenings to assess depression, mood, behavior, and cognitive function. Accurately document patient medical histories, medications, allergies, surgeries, family history, and treatment information in the electronic health record (EHR). Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, self-care, and disease management. Coordinate patient access to healthcare services and connect patients with appropriate community resources.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team members. Perform patient registration, intake, checkout, appointment scheduling, and reminder/outreach calls. Assist with patient flow and waiting room management to promote an efficient and positive patient experience. Serve as a chaperone during sensitive examinations while maintaining patient privacy, comfort, and dignity.

Prepare and maintain examination rooms, clinic areas, and waiting spaces in a clean, organized, welcoming, and well-stocked condition. Support the healthcare team with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed.

Licensed RN Prior particularly in primary care, urgent care, emergency room, family medicine, or internal medicine settings highly preferred
