Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations that include evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, and other relevant health histories.
  • Administer treatment plans in accordance with standardized procedures.
  • Deliver cutting-edge treatments such as TMS and Esketamine, while monitoring patient responses for optimal care adjustments.
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and symptom management strategies.
  • Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions in conjunction with evaluation and management services in accordance with standardized procedures.
  • Maintain timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters in an Electronic Health Records (EHR) platform.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with patients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • One year of post education experience in an outpatient or inpatient settings
  • Valid and current, unrestricted, Texas NP and furnishing license without any disciplinary action(s)
  • Valid degree, Masterโ€™s degree (or higher), from an accredited institution
  • Valid Texas DEA registration
  • ANCC PMHNP board certification
  • Autonomous practice ability
  • Proficiency with EHR
  • Telehealth experience and a high comfort level of working with technology
  • Compassionate and motivated team player
