What does it mean to be depression friendly in a workplace?

A 'Depression Friendly' workplace is one that acknowledges the challenges faced by employees experiencing depression and actively supports their well-being. This can include policies that allow for flexible schedules, access to mental health resources, a stigma-free environment, and training for managers to recognize and assist employees who may be struggling. Such workplaces aim to foster openness, provide reasonable accommodations, and promote mental health awareness to ensure that all employees feel supported and valued.
