Job description

Overview

The San Bernardino, CA office, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a deposition clerk with a at least three (3) years of legal experience. The deposition clerk assists secretaries and paralegals. Essential functions of this role include, setting depositions and meetings with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel, related to any given case, following the guidelines regarding location of each type of meeting, preparing subpoenas, check requests for witness fees, (including preparation of notices, extensive telephone contact, confirming letters, etc.), arranging for court reporters, interpreters, videographers, and calendar all accordingly, in addition to any other tasks assigned.

Responsibilities

Job Specifications/Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain and handle confidential information
