Job description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for processing depositoperations functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations andbank policies, while providing a high level of service to customers and otherdepartments of the Bank, maintaining high-quality work standards, andidentifying and mitigating risks associated with these functions.  This position will be cross trained for otherfunctions in the Bank's Deposit Sales Support area. 

Essential Duties andResponsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)    

  •   Perform timely and thorough review ofpotentially fraudulent images and transactions daily, taking prompt action tonotify appropriate internal resources of suspect items. 

      Provide timely review and processing of MobileDeposited items

      Monitor DSS Requests Inbox and process requestsreceived, including dormancy removal, processing fee refunds and deposit rateexceptions

      Research requests and adjustments from Customersand Bank Personnel, including compiling information for Verification of Depositforms and SSI Verification

      Provide support with all Cash ServicesOperations, including ordering Branch, ATM, Commercial and Foreign Currency and Process Foreign Check Collection

      Completetransaction review to ensure all regulations and audit requests are met, toinclude Reg D review

      Process interoffice mail

      Scan documents for all Deposit Sales Supportwork

      Provide support and assistance with variousdeposit product support functions, including Demand Deposit, Savings, CD, IRA,HSA, Safe Deposit Box, Sweep, etc. Product Setup and Account Documentation Review

      Provide backup support to all other DepositSales Support functions, to include Deposit Exceptions Item Processing, ReturnItem Processing, Tax Reporting, ODP Administration, and processing SSA and SSIdeath notices, Reclamations, Pre-Notifications, Levies,Garnishments, Bankruptcy and Subpoena requests

      Assist and advise with Escheat/AbandonedProperty Processing annually

      Meet service level targets regarding timelyresponses to customer/colleague requests and customer notices and mailings

      Assist with internal and external audits

      Follow policies and procedures to ensuresatisfactory audit and SOX testing reports

      Perform other duties as assigned


    Qualifications

  •   High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years bankexperience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

      Active knowledge and practice of generallyaccepted accounting principles

      Effective oral and written communication skills

      Ability to compute basic to moderately complexmath calculations

      Proficiencyin using personal computers and Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel,Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).  Familiaritywith report-writing or spreadsheet software preferred.

      Ability to multitask and manage priorities anddeadlines

      Basic problem-solving and analyticalskills.  Ability to interpret a varietyof instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

      Strong attention to detail and organizationskills

      Professionalism in dress and communication
